Fact:

Ellen has a B.A. in Elementary Education (Specialization: Early Childhood), a M.A. in Reading Education, a M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, holds a Certificate in Parenting Education and Family Support and is the parent of three young adult sons, including twins (who were a surprise on the delivery table!)

Ellen Swan,BA,MA,MS, holds a certificate in Parenting Education and Family Support and is the Director of Parenting In Action, LLC located in Fairfield, CT. Ellen is also a member of the National Parenting Education Network (NPEN) and the Connecticut Parenting Education Network (CT-PEN).

Ellen is a former teacher, the parent of three young adult sons and has a formal education in human development and familiy studies. Ellen believes all parents want to be the BEST parent possible. Unfortunately, children do not come with a "how to" manual. Good parenting is active, intentional and often a challenge. Ellen will guide parents to develop parenting skills with ease and joy.

Each stage of a child's development offers opportunities for growth as well as new ways to express behaviors, emotions and intellectual awareness. Ellen offers workshops, classes and works with parents on an individual basis. Ellen also teaches in Continuing Education programs in local towns in Fairfield (CT) County.
